Gretchen Watson
Bio
Dr. Gretchen LeFever Watson is a clinical psychologist and public health researcher who has worked in academic, healthcare, and business settings for over 20 years. She is passionate about improving the health, education, and safety of people and the environments in which they work and live.
As a popular speaker with a strong media presence, Gretchen has appeared on national TV and radio programs such as CNN, the PBS News Hour, and NPR’s Diane Rehm Show. She has published in scientific journals and her work has been discussed in popular magazines like Psychology Today, Science, Popular Science, and The Weekly Standard as well as newspapers across the U.S. and in Europe. Gretchen received the Superintendent’s Quality Award from one of the largest school districts in the nation (2002) for her system-wide human performance program and the Health Care Hero Award from a business magazine for her work in patient safety (2012).
Gretchen graduated summa cum laude from Boston University.
