Bio

Danielle Gansky is a psychiatric drug harm advocate whoses combined platforms reaches over 450,000 people across social media. She was first placed on psychiatric medications at age seven, beginning a cascade of overprescription and polypharmacy that continued throughout her youth and into adulthood.

After college, Danielle attempted to come off her antidepressant through a doctor-directed taper —  that left her severely injured. A second taper years later, combined with an adverse reaction to an antipsychotic, resulted in another debilitating injury that she is still in the process of healing from today.

Danielle is currently working to safely taper off her antidepressant all while using her platform to raise awareness, and advocate for systemic reforms to prevent his from happening to anyone else.
