Joanna Moncrieff is a professor of critical and social psychiatry at University College London and a consultant psychiatrist in the National Health Service in the UK. She is renowned for the development of alternative perspectives on psychiatric drugs and author of Chemically Imbalanced (Flint Books, 2025).
